Treasure Box
Materials:
an empty box
construction papers
paints, crayons, or markers
tape
stickers
insect stencils
cardboard
scissors
How to:
1. Use the construction papers and tape to cover the top half
of the box.
2. Let your child decorate the
box. (We used stencils and paint to draw the insects and stickers.)
3. Cut 2 strips out of the cardboard to make
compartments in the box.
4. You'll be surprised at what your child likes to put in the box.
Mimi, at first, put some rocks and seashells she had collected from the
beach. Later, she put her toy cars in the box.
