| What's it about? | The book is about a boy named Jack who'd like to have a big pancake for breakfast. But, before he can enjoy his pancake, he has to grind the wheat into flour, get an egg from the black hen, milk the cow, churn the butter, get firewood to build a fire, and get strawberry jam for his pancake. It is like a pancake recipe. It even shows you how Jack's mother makes a pancake. |
